John Sperling’s passion for metalwork began at the young age of 13, when he first started working with blacksmithing, tooling, and machining. Early in his career, he completed a 20-year apprenticeship under a skilled German immigrant, gaining extensive expertise in copper, silver, and goldsmithing. Over the past 48 years, John has honed his craft as a master tool and die maker, bringing unparalleled knowledge and skill to his work. At Stamping Technologies, John serves as the company millwright, overseeing all tool and die making processes. He is responsible for troubleshooting complex technical issues, as well as designing and developing tools, dies, and fixtures that drive efficiency and quality across production. John’s dedication to his craft and his leadership in the tool and die department make him an invaluable asset to the company.
